Ken Brown has extensive experience in advising local governments on federal funding, regulatory solutions and other tools to facilitate Brownfields revitalization, community development, and environmental improvements. The firm also has a proven track record of winning appropriations for client cities and strategic gains for companies with environmental technologies and environmentally preferred products.

Cole & Associates have provided extensive scientific support to Mr. Brown’s former firm, Spiegel & McDiarmid.

Cole & Associates have worked with Ken Brown on a variety of projects including the promotion of recyclable glass containers (Glass Packaging Institute) and environmentally sound "Arm & Hammer" products from Church & Dwight.


William M. Auberle, P.E.
Bill Auberle is Director of Engineering Programs at Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff). He is an expert on air pollution control engineering and enforcement and served as Director of the Dayton (OH) area Regional Air Pollution Control Agency. Auberle is the Engineering Associate of Henry S. Cole & Associates. Cole and Auberle have partnered on several projects, e.g., Co-Liaisons in the case of Booth vs. Georgia-Pacific.

Henry S. Cole & Associates has worked closely with the Washington Group of Golin/Harris on a campaign to promote federal tax credit legislation for environmentally safe dry cleaning. Golin/Harris International is a full-service strategic communications firm that specializes in providing a broad array of media, government and public affairs services to pubic and private sector clients. The Washington Group and its Executive Vice President Mike Fulton have utilized media, grassroots and lobbying campaigns to achieve significant government relations gains for its clients.


Rachael E. M. Cole
Web design. Rachael provides graphic, website, and creative support for Cole & Associates. Rachael is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, and received her MFA in illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her illustrations have appeared on editorial page of the NY Times among other publications.
